2027 Season Trials (Juniors & Seniors) Information and registration

South West Queensland Thunder FC invites all players to attend selection trials for the following age groups. There are spots available in each team:

GIRLS
* Under 9 Girls (2018)
* Under 10 Girls (2017)
* Under 11 Girls (2016)
* Under 12 Girls (2015)
* Under 13 Girls (2014)
* Under 14 Girls (2013)
* Under 15 Girls (2012)
* Under 16 Girls (2011)
* Under 18 Girls (2010 & 2009)

BOYS
* Under 9 Boys (2018)
* Under 10 Boys (2017)
* Under 11 Boys (2016)
* Under 12 Boys (2015)
* Under 13 Boys (2014)
* Under 14 Boys (2013)
* Under 15 Boys (2012)
* Under 16 Boys (2011)
* Under 18 Boys (2010 & 2009)

* Under 23 and Senior Men
* Under 23 and Senior Women

Further information will be provided; however, the trial dates are set as follows:

Under 9 - 13 Boys and Girls:
Tuesday 06 October and Tuesday 13 October

Under 14 - 18 Boys and Girls:
Thursday 08 October and Thursday 15 October

Under 23 Men and Men:
Wednesday 30 September and Wednesday 07 October

Under 23 Women and Women are still to be confirmed.


Players are trialing for a place in the following programs:
* FQ Academy teams (playing in the SEQ competition)
* Thunder Advanced Community teams (playing in the Darling Downs competition)
* Thunder Elevate Program
* FQPL Men and Women competition

Players must register for their correct age group. Do NOT register for a higher age group than is appropriate for your birth date. Retained Under 17/18 players wanting to trial for Under 23 teams must accept their player retention offer for their U18 team and make full payment / arrange a payment plan before registering to trial.

Please ensure you arrive 30 minutes before the trial commences to allow time to check in. Please also remember to bring your boots, shin pads, and a water bottle.
