Welcome to SWQ Thunder FC

South West Queensland Thunder FC is a semi-professional football club offering Community, Academy and Senior pathways. We proudly represent the South West Queensland region in QPL1 & FQ Academy competitions, supporting our players to develop and progress through our Silver rated Academy programs.

Our Mission:
To serve as the premier regional football club for the Darling Downs and South West Queensland, providing high-quality football and personal development opportunities within the local community.

Operationally, this mission drives us to bridge the gap between grassroots football and elite performance pathways. It requires us to continually evolve our technical programs to meet the demands of modern football, support community clubs and schools, and deliver regional training environments. By doing so, we service current members while cultivating sustainable growth and capability for the entire South West region.
