Coaching Clinics

SWQ Thunder FC conducts a range of coaching clinics during the year in Toowoomba and regional centres. Our club has a strong commitment to developing junior footballers throughout the region by introducing them to high quality coaching.

Holiday Coaching Clinics

Each holiday period, SWQ Thunder FC holds junior coaching clinics in Toowoomba and surrounding communities. These are often held in partnership with local community clubs and schools. Programs are led by our Junior Development Officer and qualified and capable Thunder coaches.

The focus of these coaching clinics is to develop players love of our great game and the skills to help them to participate effectively during club and school football experiences. Our club also uses these programs to identify talented players and invite them to join Thunder development programs of FQ Academy programs.

NXTGEN - Girls Only Coaching Clinic (Term 4)

NEXTGEN

Back by popular demand after two highly successful years in 2023 & 2024 is NXTGEN!

NXTGEN is a 10 week program coached by the SWQ Thunder FC FQPL1 Senior Women's team during Term 4, for girls aged 5 to 15 years of age. All abilities are welcome and encouraged - no football experience is necessary.

The Senior Women's team aims to provide a welcoming environment for girls to have fun and build confidence through playing football, while learning new skills.

Venue: Captain Cook Ovals
Price: $100 per player for the term
When: Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 6:30pm
Dates: 8 October - 10 December 2025

All payments must be made by credit card or BPAY upon completing the player registration for this event.
