2026 Season Trials (Juniors & Seniors) Information and registration

South West Queensland Thunder FC invites all players to attend selection trials for the following age groups:
* Under 9 Mixed Advanced Community
* Under 11 Girls Advanced Community
* Under 12 Girls Advanced Community
* Under 10 to 12 Boys FQ Academy
* Under 13 to 18 Boys FQ Academy
* Under 13 to 17 Girls FQ Academy
* Under 23 and Senior Men
* Under 23 and Senior Women

Further information will be provided; however, the trial dates are set as follows:

Under 9 - Under 12 Boys
Tuesday 14 October, Thursday 16 October, Tuesday 21 October and Thursday 23 October

Under 9 - Under 12 Girls
Monday 27 October, Thursday 30 October, Monday 03 November and Thursday 06 November.

All other ages groups are yet to be confirmed.


Players are trialling for a place in the following programs:
* FQ Academy teams (playing in the SEQ competition)
* Thunder Advanced Community teams (playing in the Darling Downs competition)
* Thunder Elevate Program
* FQPL Men and Women competition

Players must register for their correct age group. Do NOT register for a higher age group than is appropriate for your birth date. Retained Under 17/18 players wanting to trial for Under 23 teams must accept their player retention offer for their U17/U18 team and make full payment / arrange a payment plan before registering to trial.
